Can`t Find a Reason

I thought that I knew, but I found out I don’t
To see the world so different from before
Maybe you are the one who changed my everything
Somehow you gave all that I’m asking for

Even if most of the time you’re not here
I still have the feeling that you are not far away
Though I can’t see you or I can’t hear
I know in my heart you will stay

Why do we let space and time to separate us from each other?
Being able to feel but still have to deny it
When there’s a better place somewhere out there
We know the words but still can’t say it

Over the years I see you in all my happiness and pain
That I’d be happy in case you return
I would give up everything to meet you again
To connect once more the bridges you burned

I thought that you knew, but I found out you don’t
To see that world so perfect and so new
Maybe you came to change my everything
Somehow you showed me the reason why I love you
