As the sun awakens the day.

It seems a fair price to pay.

Your touch arouses my senses,
As the moon arouses the night.

Hold me and win me forever,
In your arms all things are right.

Your heart endures all emotion,

Love me and we'll have eternity,

Eternity Of Your Love

Your love is... an ocean,
Where sand meets the sea,
Waves of love rolling over me,

Your love comes to me,
As the tide comes to the shore,
Wanting and needing to embrace me more,

Your love is... the moon,
Shinning across the shimmering sea,
Deep, wide, strong, and calm.
Always there to carry me..

Your love is... my shelter,
My compass, my true north,
Where ever I go, your love is guiding me forth,

Your love is.... the fresh ocean breeze,
Gently sweeping across my face,
Touching me from place to place,

Your love is...
The salty air I smell,
Clearing my thoughts and thinking,

Your love is...
The life preserver that keeps me from sinking,

When I go there to the sea,
I am not alone, for your love is with me,

I feel you all around,
The beauty, the wind, the mystery,

Your love engulfs me,
Takes my breath away,
Holds me in wind's arms,

When I close my eyes,
Dancing memories of your charms,
Never escape my deepest memory,

So if ever our souls part to say goodbye,
Meet me there, where the sea meets the sky,

Your love will forever be with me,
Where the sands touch the sea,

Our love lives on,
Our love flows back out into all eternity.

Times In Love

There are times when words aren’t enough
feelings can’t always be put into words;
because they are inadequate and often escape us
sometimes, there are only feelings.

There are times when all you need is a look;
a silent, wordless connection between souls
an understanding that needs no translation
a natural, knowing stare that says everything.

There are times when all you need is a touch;
nothing spoken - just the gesture of reaching out
touching, silently transferring your energy
conveying something that comes from within

There are times when all you need is acceptance
to know that you are valued as you are
that any changes you make only enhance you more
as you discover yourself.

There are times when all you need is love
no conditions or demands, only simplicity.
to know that for no reason at all
another chooses you over all others.
There are times when all you ever wanted,
was to be completed by another person.

There are times when you need all of these things
there are times when nothing else matters.

You Were Once

I once loved you so much
And for so long.
Why did you leave
When I did nothing wrong?

Your smile was once the sun
On a dark, rainy day.
It would clear up the sky
And keep it from being gray.

Your eyes were once the shine
Of the world's glowing light.
Or were they the twinkling stars
That once filled the night?

Your hands once had power
To give me the softest touch.
They'd always give me a slight tingle,
Which is why I loved them so much.

Your hugs were once the medicine
That'd change a frown to cheer.
A shiver would run through my body
Every time I feel your love near.

Your kisses were once the wind,
They were fresh and breezy against my face.
They were gentle, so gentle,
It's something no one will replace.

But, now you like someone else,
And it's driving me insane.
Although it's over for us,
The love we had still remains.

And so I tell myself...
Never again will I cry.
You were once everything to me,
That I can't deny.

But I couldn't keep my promise
And broke out in tears.
The hours I've cried feel like days,
The days feel like years.

As I bury my face in the pillow,
And cry my heart out and grieve,
I've learned to never give away love
If love I don't receive.

Mirror Me
