Saving a Marriage

Do you ever fall asleep thinking what has happened to the marriage you’ve been saving all your life? Do you ever think divorce is coming at the corner and knock on your door anytime? Most of the time, divorce happens due to irremediable differences of the partners, or just irreconcilable differences. In United States, divorce rate per 1000 people is about 4.95, small value with a big impact. Divorce has certain eligibility requirements and some facts should be agreed on beforehand. One of the impacts it would bring big is the custody of the children, just think about the emotional stress.

Sometimes, you would think your partner has no interest in saving your marriage, think twice about it. It doesn’t always have to end up being one of those in the statistics; it’s always never too late to do something about it. You and your partner can sit in and analyze the relationship you now have. Weighing and identifying what causes the problems within your marriage, and eventually think about how to resolve it and find answers that will work for both of you.

These are some of the problems arise within couples:

Indifferences – this is common among couples, when they feel that they have nothing in common anymore. They feel no importance or value or they lack interest with something. One of the couple starts looking that something lacking in someone else or try to demand to his/her partner which results to arguments or sometimes cheating. One of the couples thinks they would find excitement on other forms; in fact this is just natural. Couple can always find things to rekindle their passion, it just needs a push.

Money Matters – Couples should always bear in mind that when it comes to money, they should not talk about it. What I mean is that; don’t let money be the center of the relationship. In whatever area, be it in marriage, money causes disagreements. When it comes to money, partner should always balance who would make decisions about handling it, priorities where it should be spent and all. Couples living together should create a joint account and shared expenses.

Infidelity – this is the number one that destroys trust which is the foundation of marriage. An unfaithful husband or wife most of the time are unforgivable. Women whose been cheated are emotionally stress and difficult to recover after the cheating. Despite the assurances her husband would give her, she would always be a paranoid, thinking that her husband would still do the same, over and over again. And most men think they will always be forgiven when the wife founds out.

In a relationship, sometimes things don’t run smoothly. Sometimes it’s because we expect something. Sometimes, we distract each other with issues, or because we have difficulty expressing what’s in our minds. Because of these things, we hinder ourselves on how to have a good relationship. Couples should find ways through their arguments. They need to spend some time apart and communicate to make their bond strong enough to keep their relationship. Above all, couple should learn to make sure their previous problem won’t occur again, like a bad case of fungal infection.
